Hello,

I just bought a Top2004 programmer. I can't program anything with it... tried 4 different 27C040, 1 27C010, 1 27C4001, they all can be read and blank verified, but all miserably fail to program , the 27C040 all stop after the beginning with error message "000010:Error! (file=31,chip=20)" , the 27C4001 went a bit further and stopped with "018ce0:Error! (file=00,chip=02)". Using topwin version 2.52 english software.
Checked the USB power, 10/10, tried on another computer, same result..
Thanks.

Well, after trying to read the failed writes, I see that:
- the first 16 bytes are OK
- the following are garbage
- the next 16 bytes are again ok
- etc...

Definitely looks like a hardware problem with the programmer....
