Posted - 12/03/2009 : 16:12:39 Do you mean change tWP and tWC timings? I've experimented with these, but I'm still getting the same error as c1pinse. I'm also using a SST49LF040A flash mem chip, tho I think it could be bad...
Is there a list of where I can obtain a compatible replacement as nobody sells the SST49LF040 in the UK. :( |

Here the Speed is not the computer speed. It is programmer software operation speed.
There are -2,-1,0,+1,+2 software speed setting.

Posted - 12/02/2009 : 17:11:48 What's a good speed of machine to use?
I'm having the same problem, and have tried both a Core2duo machine at 2.6GHz, and an old Athlon laptop at 1.8GHz, both give me the same errors. |

Posted - 02/17/2009 : 08:24:45 It is possible, try on slower machine. The parallel LPT port willem programmer speed depends on computer motherboard CPU speed. If the speed too fast, then the programmer may not work normally.
The True USB Willem GQ-3X, GQ-4X have eliminated this problem. |
