I have a 12v PSU connected and all that so it cant be the power, and I have the device securely connected, and the eprom is snug in the zif socket. The jumpers are set right and all that. I do not know what is wrong. |

Posted - 02/21/2012 : 14:35:26 Ok, the Parallel port needed to be switched to EPP and it now writes chips. But I have normal eproms and it has no trouble writing to the same chip, I don't know if its burning right |

Posted - 02/21/2012 : 14:19:20 I tracked down an old Toshiba laptop running Windows 98 and installed the software, the hardware checksout except for the VPP light. I try to burn a chip (27C010) and it gives me this error message
Error at 0x00000A Chip= 0x00 buffer 0xFF |

Posted - 02/05/2012 : 10:24:11 I have the hacked .dll to allow it to work on W7 64Bit. It starts up fine. I am going to do a test, I have a TSOP40 Adapter, and I will try and write a TSOP40 chip using the adapter. |
