Hello, I don't know how to operate this programmer GQ-4X usb universal programmer. I try do download a game backup rom and it tells me that it doesn't support the (sfc) files. Either to look it up online but then they charge me, it's a scam and don't know how to get it started. I have windows vista profes. I installed the software then connected the programmer to the usb and installed that too. Don't know where to go from there. I then go to the webpage to download the backup rom and it tells me it doesn't support (SFC FILES). Even if it did, I wouldn't know where to go from there as to insert the eprom on the programmer then download or vice versa, Please if you can explain this to me as a two year old I would certainly appreciated.

Make sure the rom doesnt have a header. Rename to .bin. Burn.

I do not know what is SFC file type. But software accepts .bin .hex file.
If you have a good chip want to do the back up, then you can place the the good chip on the programmer and then read & save the data into .bin file.
