I currently have one of your easy pro usb programmers. I use to use it to burn at29c256 flash roms putting crome bin files on them for honda ecus... Now those chips are obsolete, so I have sourced an alternative which is the sst27sf256 flash roms. I just want to know is there anything special needed to burn these and make them work proper or just select the chip setting and everything should burn fine?? I have seen no one else using this programmer that is why I am asking here. By the way the 27c256 and 29c256 burned just fine no problems.

Well it asks you 2 times, once when you open bin file, and 2nd time when you are going to program, I am suppose to change start to 8000, but I dont know what end is

If you only write a section of dat, then you need to set the start and end address location.

no other special need. No adapter required.
