Hi

A couple of years ago I purhcased a dual power willem, parallel port version which I have been using fine to to programme a couple of PICs and some 40pin DIP EPROMS (27c4096) with an Eprom 16bit DIP40 adaptor.

Now I would like to be able to read and write the xc9536xl by xilinx. Except I am not having much help at confirming how to do it. Is the xilinx chip an equivalent of something else that I can select in the willem eprom software? Do I have to purchase another adapter?

Sorry for the novice questions, I'm not very clued up with this and just got confused with I googled it

Ta

The Dual power Willem programmer does not support JTAG programming. So it does not support your XC9536xl chip.

The latest GQ-4X has JTAG programming feature. It can program XC9536xl chip. But it does not read the chip to buffer.
