I use a SOIC-8 SMD clip, I am a bit confused how to use them?
there are 8 pin with 8 different colors, in the clip, pin 1 is on what color?

The color doesn't mater.

You only need to make sure the chip pin 1 does to ADP-067 pin 1. And all other corresponding pins correctly.

The ADP-067 goes to programmer ZIF with bottom aligned.
