Hi all.

I'm very new to TOP2004 programmer, it only arrived yesterday. I have already loaded the mmtechnic version of the software and it makes more sense now.

The manual is not too clear on some things. Can anyone explain how to detect the EPROM make & type?
Every time I press "detect", I get different results for a NS NM27C128Q-200 eprom. All it returns is 00,00 ff,ff, ff,ef c4,ff or something similar but different for each press. Do I have to find the chip myself then use detect to confirm it?
Any help would be wonderful.

Thanks for that. That is probably why I cannot get it to work.

The TOP series programmer (Like this TOP2004) does not have EPROM ID detect feature.
