 help pease, top 2048 with problems

Hello,
i have a eprom programer top2048, about 9 months and he never work to whryte, he just can read the eproms.

I have try the company who i have bougth the top2048 but they dont whant to give me a guaranties and tell me there is the eprom damaged, but its not because i have try with some new eproms (27sf010plcc32, am29f800bt, am29f400bb psop44, ...) and always the same thing (error000000: error of (file=55 , device= ff).

So, i need to repair the programer, anyone can help me??

did you download there latest software
www.top2048.com

with the 2049 i had to unplug the programmer first from usb
then update the software and load the driver and reboot

then once it power in first then plugged the programmer in
the driver loaded up and installed from winxp drivers
{no need to use there reload driver in start menu}
then start the software and test it again

i note on there site it only mentions fixing 256=>512k chips support

so maybe this latest version hasnt support to it yet for the bigger chips youve tried

machine toshiba equium laptop usb only type
p5b asus main machine
thinking of adding dual lpt pci card
both used for top and lpt via usb where i can

old p2 programming grumbling tank with xp sp3 for true serial and lpt

all machines bios set to enable bios plug and play aware o/s and lpt spollers services and drivers removed
legacy detection enabled
