I have purchased a new computer which of coarse has no parallel port. first I tried a parallel to usb cable with no luck(still have and would prefer to use but doesn't matter).
next I installed a pci parallel card with no luck
how can I get this thing to work
Using Willem dual power running xp pro on p.c (card) vista on lap (for cable)

It is hard to let it work on new computer. There are lot of things need to get configured if you add a LPT port card.

I suggest you to get GQ-4X programmer. That will be much easier for you.

Some of us cant afford to buy another programmer due to the recession, so their must be some way to get this to work on more modern computers.
