I cannot seem to find the EPROM [Mitsubishi M5M27C100P] in the device list of the GQ-4X4? Would it be feasible for someone to explain to me how to add the correct information so I may write to the EPROM.

Did you look what is the difference between the M5M27C100K and M5M27C100P in the datasheet?

There doesn't seem to be much difference but when I add the M5M27C100K (in the GQ-4X4) it says 'intel' instead of Mitsubishi?

Memory IC Type is different as well.

To be truthful... I haven't added any 'new' information to the device.txt because I couldn't find the correct info to add. The datasheet info (that I matched) was from h**p://www.datasheets360.com/part/detail/m5m27c100p-15/-7143483480754405839/?alternatePartManufacturerId=0

The info (as below) is taken from the original Device.txt in GQ-4X4.

Name="M5M27C100K",ID="XXXX",Class="27C301",Category="EPROM",MFG="Intel",RVpp="5V";

Ok, add those 2 lines and see if it's good for you.

Name="M5M27C100K",ID="1C02",Class="27C301",Category="EPROM",MFG="Mitsubishi",RVpp="5V";
