i keep getting this message no matter what i do have tried 2 ecu same problem device blank check failed at address 0x0000 10 read =0x05 can you help

If your devices doesn't pass the blank check they are not erased correctly or damaged.

So now they pass the blank check but simply refuse to write? Do you get an error message?

Probably damaged. Did you use the same part number in the device list?

used M95040 it blanks,go to write then get the Failed,address =0x000000,devise=oxFF,buffer=ox12

Is your device a M95404 like you said earlier or a M95040?

You are not looking for 5V. You need to do a continuity check. What make and model is your multimeter?

It is telling you just that. Your write failed at address 0x000000, the device reads 0xFF and the buffer is 0x12.
