I finally got my burner to test Ok and erase from searching and finding the Jumper settings, but now I am having problems burning. I do not get any errors. This is what happens. I set jumpers, test hardware... Hardware present. Erase chip with vertical jumper in place... Device erase OK. Blank test....device is empty.... Load Bin file... file loaded ok. Remove vertical jumper. Program and verify..... It goes through the red and the green bars and say's verifying chip at the bottom. This never goes away. I click on compare/verify under action and it say's verify OK. I try to use this chip in my car and it does not work. Blank test.... Device is empty. Every time! I wonder if it will work if I smash it? AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH! Please help!

What is your programmer version?
What is your software version you are used?

It seems something wrong with the software.

Should I redownload the software? BTW I forgot to mention. If the chip is not in the programer it will still try to program and it will verify.

The software is correct and you do not need to download software.

If programmed and verified, then the chip should be programmed correctly.

Can you do a blank check after the programmed and verified?

If the chip is blank, then most likely your buffer is empty.

Yes, I can do a blank check and it is empty. What do you mean the buffer is empty. Do you mean the Bin file I loaded has no info in it. Sorry I'm new to this. What do I need to do with the buffer? I clicked on buffer at the bottom and it just shows a bunch of F's everywhere. By the way thanks for all the help so far.

If you only see all FF in buffer, and the checksum is 0x0000 then the buffer is empty. That is to say your bin file loaded is an blank file.

Ok. The size and checksum read as follows OXFFF OXB800. At the top of the Buffer page there is all kinds of numbers. Toward the bottom of the buffer page it changes to all F's. I think it might actually be burning the chip. I wonder if the bin is just wrong. The car starts, but throws a solid Cel and runs like crap.

I've tried 3 different ones that are supposed to be stock bins, but I suppose all of them could be wrong. It does look like the chip is burning though, Right?

I just tried 2 more bins and neither worked. Also I know the ecu is good, because the stock chip works.
