Not the power supply issue.

Did you do the blank check after erase? this will check if the erase works.
Does the chip protected?
Do you have second chip for testing?
Is it used chip or new chip?
How do you know the chip is not the bad chip?

Barely put the chip in the socket, this will help the pin contacting.

Hi!

I trying a reprogram a BIOS chip of FSC Amilo Pi 1536 notebook. The chip is AMIC A29L800ATV, but this chip is not in the devices.txt. I select this device for program (based on datasheets): AMD AM29F800T and ignore "ID-check" and Jumper leave in the 3V position! The chip is programmed and verified successfully, and the notebook is working properly.

ZLM: Please verify this line, if its correct, please add the devices.txt in next version of GQ-program.

Name="A29L800ATV",ID="371A",Class="29F800T",Category="FLASH",MFG="AMIC",Adapter="ADP-003 TSOP48 8 BIT Mode",RVPP="3V";
