please I am Brazilian and I need to read and program the EPROM AM29LV160MB-90EI and I am not getting the programmer willem 4.5 .. thanks for helping ..

The programmer and the adapter are able to read the 29LV160.

But you need to config the programmer, adapter jumpers correctly, also the address wires need to be connected too.

Always check the chip ID first, this will let you know if the basic connection or pin contacting are good.

1. jumpers on adapter should set to 29FXX, 3.6V.
2. the address wires need to be connected between adapter and the programmer.
3. software using 0.97ja, device "29LV160 under 16 bit menu" should be selected.

Zlm thank you for your help, but I am not getting, is the programmer supports mirror bit EPROM with technology? That is the case with AM29LV160MB-90EI ...

Not sure what is the "mirror bit EPROM". But this programmer should work on this chip if the programmer is in working condition.
