I have an enhanced willem usb powered and I'm trying to program a PIC16F84A.
I'm able to read and write other chips I've tried so my hardware and pc settings should be correct. I dl'd weptest.exe and checked the voltage on pin 4, PIC socket and I show 11.93 volts. According to the
PIC data sheet it needs to be between 12 and 15 volts. According to the doc that came with weptest it says that "R12 on the component drawing says r12=10k this should be 100K".
And when I downloaded the latest software it had an updated HW fix enclosed requiring two pull-up resistors (10k) to SELIN and AUTO.
Anyone aware of this and if it might have an effect on what I'm doing?

All voltage will have some tolerance, eg. 5% - 10%.

The 11.93V will be considered as 12V. Your multimeter has the tolerance too.
