Hi all, i have a TOP3000 USB programmer that i've been using to burn eproms. Its been working fine for that but today i thought i'd try the psop44 adapter that came with it. I am using the latest software from the top6.com website on windows 10 X64.

I am trying to program two 44 pin smd chips which will be replacement region free bios for Sega consoles.

The chips are MX29F800TMC-90

When i go to select device i have no listing for the MX29F800 however i do have a listing for MBM29F800T*44ps which i've tried but it fails to read.

Selecting Read MFC gives

top3000 ver6.23
Connectting OK
Read ID...
MFG ID = 00,20,00,02

So anyone know if i can program this chip with this device and if so how?

The MX29LV160TMC-90

This one i have a listing under Macronix for a MX29LV160T*44PS which i selected but when trying to read the chip or use the Read MFC i get an image showing me the zif socket with pin 47 highlighted as in the attached image.

Again, if anyone knows if this chip is programmable with this programmer i'd appreciate some help :)

Thanks in advance.
