Posted - 02/26/2013 : 11:36:17 Hi, I just installed the programmer and driver and started off by connecting to a 95080 chip on board via micro clips using the bottom L4 & R4 slots. I hit "READ" and supposingly get a code with all 0's... is that right? This is supposed to be out of a control module that has crash data on it...? Am I doing something wrong?
Also when I open a .bin file with good data for that module/chip, it now has some "FF" in area, so I hit "WRITE" to get it on the chip, it writes to 100%, but when starts verifying I get an error:
VERIFY FAILED, Address=0x00001C, Device=0x00, Buffer=0xFF
Did it overwrite the code? Please help me on how to properly connect to chips and read/write code using wires % micro lips to chips on board.
Thank You so much in advance! |

The on board programming is not easy like you thought. You have to take care the power from the programmer not been used by other part on the target board.
For the best, you may need to remove the chip and program it on the programmer. |
