My setup:

GQ-4X, ADP-072 v3.0 + ADP-077, USBprg 6.83.

I'm trying to read content of flash memory chip. SPANISION S29JL032H70TFI and save it to a BIN file.

It looks to me that read content has swapped bytes.

Example of text to display by device where this flash is coming from. Places of each 2 following letters are swapped:

"Please wait" is writen in the BIN file as "P elsa eawti"
"Calibration OK!" is writen in the BIN file as "C labiaritnO !k:"

See details on attached BIN snapshot

I'm new to this equipment. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug in the programmer or its software ?

I appreciate any help on this

This is not a problem.

It is OK if you just want to copy a chip.

You can click on A/B button to swap the byte order.

See:

42990 bytes
