I've read some smaller EPROMs on my Dual Power without problem. I'm trying to read a 4mbit EPROM using the 16 bit adapter. There's absolutely no documentation I can find anywhere about using the 16bit adapter. I assume I have it oriented properly, I have the jumpers set to "normal" and I have the DIP switches set to what the software tells me. The other window where it usually displays the picture just says "Require adapter" and that's all. What am I missing here? Thanks.

For this chip there are no extra jumper and cable on adapter setting are needed.

It's a 27C4096. The only instructions on the adapter are for the jumper. Nothing tells me about any other jumpers or orientation.

Most of instructions are printed on the adapter.
What is the exact your EPROM part number?
