I can read a PC file into the buffer. I can erase the chip. I can write the buffer to the chip, then erase the buffer and read the chip and see that the chip was written successfully.

I am trying to read a AT89C55WD with an unknown program. I can read the electronic ID. However, this chip and duplicate chips read empty. These chips operate in the circuit. How do I read the program?

It seems the chip been set the lock bit.
If that is the case, then there is no way to read it out.
