Posted - 05/21/2017 : 04:23:52 Hi, I'm a novice to using the GQ-4X v4, although I've used a Genius G540 for several years.
I'm burning 3 M27C160's for a friend. The first one I burned without performing a blank check.
One the 2nd chip, I clicked 'blank check' first and it failed. I proceeded to write the chip and verify it.
Is it still OK if the chip verified correctly? I'm assuming the GQ-4X writes over any non-blank sectors. But it will likely be months before my friend installs these chips.
What do you think? Will they work? |
