Hi, I'm trying to use the 16 Bit Eprom adapter (V2.0) for the first time.

Programmer is GQ-3X RE-1.00 USB, Software is 2.05Beta.

It comes with 3x coloured jumper cables (Orange, Purple, Red).

There is no information where these cables go? I assume they power the 16Bit daughter board?

The Chip we are working with currently is MX27c4100DC-12.

The software says to use the daughter board, but gives no more information as to where the cables go or which socket to use. :(

Any help appreciated.

~Ken

OK, thanks.

Yea I got it working.

The chips were blank , but not UV blank at the time which was what confused me.

The seller must have tested them by blanking them and then writing Blank fill back to the chip. (Bit strange).

The MX27c4100DC is 27C400 compatible. So, it should go 42 pin socket and bottom aligned with the socket.

No address wire is required on this chip.
