Hi,

Can anyone shed some light on the fuse configuration Abbreviations?
I am programming a 16F628 and some of the names are confusing.

Like in the Oscillator section.

HS - self explanatory.
many follow standard names, but the 2 modes of internal oscillator naming seem cryptic.

is there a list of exactly what they are?

Also.. is there a way to get the programmer to read in the configuration file written by the proton Pic Basic Pro compiler?
They write out a config file for the fuses. Can it be refreshed with the programmer Refresh button that does the code to?

Thanks,

Brent

What would it take to make it command line operational? It would be good for business if you can get a major IDE to integrate with your programmer.

No. This programmer only supports Windows GUI interface.

Can your programmer be run in command line mode? This way it could integrate with the proton IDE: http://www.picbasic.org/proton_development_suite.php

They have a configurable command line generator that can call your program with parameters (no gui) to push the code directly to the chip.

Does your software work with this?

For the fuse information, you can find it from the chip datasheet. The datasheet you can find from: http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/40044F.pdf
If your PIC Basic Pro compiler generate standard Hex file and it with configuration information, then the software us able to read it.
