Have a willem pcb5.0 and a socketed ecu for my ca18det ecu for my 240sx. Attempting to program an Eprom ( D27128a2 ) I load my .BIN file and change my offset to 8000 I click program chip and I get an error that says " Error at 0x008000 Chip = 0x04 Buffer = 0xFF " what the hell does that mean? Im am such a newb its not even funny. So do I have the wrong EPROM or is my offset wrong or something else?? plz help !

your error is saying its not blank, chip = 0x04 is saying theres data on the chip

C'mon guys I knew I had to erase the chip. But yeah The offest seemed to be my problem, I figured that out the other night

1. You need to erase the EPROM chip before program it.
2. Do a blank check before program it
3. No offset needed.

erase the chip first? area needs to be blank to be programmed.
