How do you know the eeprom address of the crash data, so it can be cleared?

Does the external eeprom contain program code as well, or only data?

Is it possible to read/write the eeprom without desoldering it?

Is the GQ-3X lite ok for these types of modules?

thanks,
reddogg

I think you can not just convert hex to ascii. You need fine detailed code information. We do not have those information.

ok, but how do you know where the data is located?
If you know the crash code, for example, 10-1, do you just convert hex to ascii?

Thanks again,
reddogg

The programmer software has a data buffer interface. You can do the code editing. However, you need to know where the data located.

All parallel EEPROM need to be removed and programmed on the programmer. But many serial EEPROMs can be programmed in circuit.

The GQ-3X support many EEPROM chips. Please check supported device list for detailed.
