Hey guys, iv joined up to this forum to seek some advice. I looking to program a PIC NMC9346 chip. This particular chip is for the dash cluster of a 1990 BMW. This chip contains a fair bit info regarding speedo corrections, transmission type, fuel usage calculations and ofcourse the ODO.

I bought one of those cheap USB programs that could do the 93C46 chip. It read it fine, i edited the required data, than it got erased. Ever time i edit and press program, it will not write to the chip. This has rendered my dash cluster as a paper weight.

So iv been searching for a programmer that will actually write the data to the chip. Only 2 programmers sort of popped up whilst search the chip type which were: MCUmall GX-X4 and the Top853.

This is the first time iv attempted such thing, so please excuse my lack of knowledge.

Thank-you.
