Hi everyone, I am going crazy, because I cannot program any 2532 eprom family chipsets.

I have 2 programmers
One GQ-4x
and one GQ-4x4

One on windows XP with 6.x software and one on a modern windows USB 3 with 7.x software.

I have several TMS2532JL-45, bought from different sellers, I cannot program anyone.

With the 6.x software programming stops at 4% (2532 and TMS2532JL)
With 7.x software, programming completes (100%), but it fails when verified and when I read the eprom content it is empty (FF FF etc)

The weird thing is that I was able (with the GQ-4X) to program some 2532 in the past (as generic) but now, I cannot do that anymore with any of the two programmers.

Of course I have an external power adapter (10V-12V)

Does it a have a too low voltage? Do I have to give you more voltage?
I read that the external power should be 9-12V, but is it true?

Thanks for your help. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Have a great day

Best

Stefano
