I bought the adapter for the the USB PIC Programmer. I do not know the pins for the PIC16c57/16f57 chip. The datasheet has the pins labeled in a different lingo. I know about the ICSP Mode. When I bought the Universal Adapter, I requested pinouts hoping I would have diagram when it arrived.

The Universal adapter is just a open pin adapter. All pins on ZIF socket are open via pin header. So, you can use the jumper wires to connect the pin header to the PIC programemr ICSP port.
