Using the PRG-017 USB PIC programmer, all works well unless there is EEPROM data in the HEX code. If I try to have it program the EEPROM as well as the flash program area, it comes up with an error similar to:

EPROM error at 0x0001
Good 0x68
Bad 0x29

This happens on every chip I have tried - various 12F629 and 16F629A.

Any thoughts?

Thank you! I will make the change and try it!

Would modifying this file work to add support for PIC's that aren't currently supported by the software? I have a couple of 18LF4682 that aren't supported.

what software version you are using?

Try to increase the programming delay time for this chip.

Open the "CHIPINFO.cid" file in the application directory and search the "12F629", increase the "ProgramDelay=" parameter.
