I'm trying to burn a 2532 chip that is identified as "3532JL".

When trying to write to this device, it says, "Write failed, Address=0x000000, Buffer=0x04 Device=0x00"

Can anyone help with this?

Yes. All EPROMs need to be erased before write new data.

Yes, I did not erase the chip. Does the chip need to be erased even if I wanted to write all FFs to it?

Make sure you erased the chip and passed the blank check from software.
