Hi guys! Managed to desolder the 93c56 on a broken toyota denso ecu. I just wan't to practice on this one for a immo off... I read the eproom, did immo off in toyolex. But every time I try to program it in XProg it says: "Verifying FLASH... ERROR! FLASH ADRESS 0X000018 Buf_Val: 0x2112 IC_ Val 0x0000 Programming Failed...... Have tried other files I found on the forums with the same eeprom. Same error.
I can reprogram the ori file with no errors... What am I doing wrong??? This Toyota Yaris is about to buuuurnnn.
EDIT! Unblocked the optinion "Verify after" and it was sucessed. But when I read the eproom once again the ori file is still in there. Is this a joke? |

| Maybe... I use a t48 programmer. But do you think a gq-4x4 will do the job? |

93C56 is compatible with the GQ-4X4 in 8 and 16 bit. |

Tested with the GQ-4x4 now. Get verify fail on this one too. What am I doing wrong??? Have tested two blank eeproms and two from ecus. Have also tried many different 93c56 versions in the device menu. Tested with different speeds. And also tested with a solder adapter, clip adapter and a adapter thst reminds of adp-004 which was included from the t48. Please give me some hope. 3 months on this stupid toyota now and can't get anything to work |

No i'm not. After erase the same data still appears. I thought if the t48 adapters has different pinouts? Because i'm out of ideas now. Seems that other users have sucessfully read/write those eeproms with both programmers. |

Is your adapter a straight through? |

A mask ROM cannot be electronically changed after manufacture. Try a real 93c56 from a reputable source. |

| SOLVED!!! Got a tip from a member on digital-kaos. I disconnected pin 6 and 7 from the adapter. Don't know why I needed it. Because other folks had done it 100% earlier. Well now we going to test the immo off. Thanks for your patience anniel! |
