Hi, I am wondering how the Wellon VP-280 compares to the Top2049 ?

I've already got a `True USB Willem'.

So I am now looking at a commercially produced product.

I'd be interested to hear any comments on these two and how they compare with each other.

I'd also like to know the input voltage tolerances for both devices as we mainly have 12VDC (12-13.8VDC) supply in the field.

TNX,
~Ken

The TOP uses 5V/1.5A DC input and VP280 uses 9V/400mA DC input. Both programmer comes with the DC adapter. For 110V-220V AC.

Thanks, thats a good start.

It's starting to look like the VP-280 will win out. I have been told that the TOP brand is not very good.

As for DC supplies. It's good to see devices that take 12VDC as it's the most common source.
