I have a Windows 10 64-bit VM running in VirtualBox on a Mac.

I run GQUSBdriver3.0Win10.64bit.EXE and it indicates a successful install.

I go to Device Manager and there is nothing added under "Universal Serial Bus controllers", and also there is no "Unknown device" under "Other devices".

Not a good first impression.

There are some setting may need to be set from the VirtualBox. That particular USB port/device has to be added to VirtualBox takes over the control.

But the VirtualBox is not tested.

Thank you for replying, ZLM. What about Apple's Boot Camp, should I try that instead?

For the record, I did get this working, after some struggle.

First I installed the VirtualBox Extension Pack. Then in VirtualBox Settings -> Ports -> USB
I deleted the existing USB Device Filter and added a new one with USB 3.0 selected.

Then in the VM I went through a few rounds of removing the device and driver from
Device Manager and then reinstalling. Also had to select the device a few times from
the popup list that appears when you click on the USB icon at the bottom of the VM
window. Eventually it started working. Have read a few EPROMs, haven't tried writing yet.
