Where do I find the correct information for any chip, to fill the "ID" item for a device in device.txt?

Does the "ID" item effect the way the GQ-4X sends information to different devices? Pinouts?

Is there a tutorial on correctly configuring a new device for use with a GQ-4X True USB Programmer?

Is it necessary that a special jig be built to work with a device which is not included in the most recent USBPrg programmer?
