Hello,

I've ordered a GQ-4X Full but I think I should have ordered a GQ-4X with an ADP-054 so that I can read 27C4001 EPROMS

Is this correct?

I am waiting for the GQ-4X to arrive tomorrow, but would like to know if I should order the ADP-054 so that it will work with the 27C4001

Thank you

No. The 27C4001 does not need adapter.

Because the chip is 32 pin chip.

Thank you for saving me from making a mistake.

I received my GQ-4X today. The build quality looks quite good.

I did hook it up to my Windows XP system, installed the signed USB driver; that detected and installed the driver for the GQ-4X.

The "GQ USBPrg" program recognized it. The voltage tests all passed.

I selected the MC27C4001 chip and it confirmed as you said, no adapter is necessary.

I will have to wait to test read a chip since the test clip I ordered from a different source will not arrive for several days.

I appreciate the quick response to my question, and the fast delivery of the product.
