Hi, I'm trying to read the TMP87PP21FG chip from Toshiba.
The programmer I have is:
H/W Re: GQ-4X Re-1.41(SW Re. 6.23)
USB Driver Re.2.0
Software Re. 6.23

I understand I can add chips to the device list.
When I add the device I can specifiy an adapter.
I do not understand how the adapter function fully works.

The TMP87PP21FG is a surface mount chip so I will have to either get or make an adapter for it. If I make an adapter for it, I do not understand how to decide where to put the address lines (A0-A16), data lines(D0-D7), programming lines(/CE, /OE, /PGM), and Vpp line into the programmer.

Can someone shed some light on these aspects?
Please let me know if any more information is needed.
