What is difference between TOP2048 and TOP2049? Can I use TopWin3 software with my TOP2048 instead of TopWin10 which isn't updated for a long time?

Thanks,
fzeljko

There are software has difference. The hardware is similar, no much different.
The TopWin3 will not work on TOP2048.

Hi everyone

deer ZLM remember when you install the topwin3 it produces a 5 lst files
named as follows:
device853.lst
device2005.lst
device2007.lst
device2048.lst
device2049.lst
and these files contain the supported chips by each programmer and as you can see it should be working on top2048 but i didn't test it since i have top2049 only

Yes, TOP2048 is (was) supported in TopWin3. In meantime TopWin3 followed TopWin10 and went to History too - no more updates. The new Player is TopWin5 without support for TOP2048. I suppose my TOP2048 will be soon History too.

I checked this 'new' version: only TopWinEn.exe was recompiled on 19.9.2008, ALL other files are old, no new chips at all.
