Whats the proper way? Dip in chip at opposite end from dip switches? Extra slots in programmer socket at dip switch end or other end? Which end is up? SST 27sf512

Assume you have a standard Dual Power Willem programmer.

=============================
Steps to burn a SST512 eprom
=============================

Open the 0.97ja software and choose the SST512 chip:

Setup the screen to match this:

Place the chip in the ZIF socket as pictured on that screen. The half-moon in the chip should face toward the top, towards the ZIF lever.

Then set the jumpers like below in yellow and erase the SST chip.

Then choose the file you want to burn, and hit the burn button.
