I dont see this device in the list but have seen it listed on earlier models. Is it available for the GQ-3X?

I have the chip that I would like to read and save however I dont want to risk damage. What do you mean by test it?

test means read and write the chip see if the chip can be verified after write. It will not damage the chip physically. But it may need to be reprogrammed if write fail.
