Hey guys im new at this stuff so hang in there with me as i try to explain what im doing. I have a degree in computer networking and know lil bit about the chips, I have my own buisness in auto salvage, i am trying to reset air bag modules with the GQ-3X usb, i also have the SOIC8 test clip to try and reprogram the chips on the board i also do not know how to set it up. From what i can tell is that i have 3 chips i got to copy and reprogram on teh bad airbag modules. i can not tell which is pin one as there is no indent in the chip. I have included a picture with the numbers on the 3 chips that i think need to be reprogramed this airbag module is out of an 08 chevy malibu, any help or advice is greatly appricated.

As I know there are many users use this programmer for their in circuit programming on I2C, SPI motherboard, airbag/mileage chip and Microwire 8 pin SOIC8.

However, if your chip is not designed for the in circuit programming, then there are testing and try needed. No programmer can guaranty the in circuit programming will work 100%.

There are lot of users have found their way to use GQ-4X and testclip to hack into the circuit to do the in circuit programming.

By the way, remove the chip and program it on the programmer is not too hard.
