Hello,
I need some help in making a new entry in the devices list so I can program a GigaDevice serial flash chip GD25Q80BSIG as my GQ-4X does not support that device. I have got numerous HP motherboards with that chip on them that i need to reprogram. I have attached a picture of the chip in question.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Add following line into devices.txt:
Name="GD25Q80BSIG",ID="C84014",Class="W25X10",Category="SERIAL_EPROM",MFG="GigaDevice",Vcc="3.6V",CodeSize="1048576",Adapter="ADP-081, ADP-027 adapter",Platform="GQ-4X";

Many thanks for your help. I was able to use the info you provided and with an accompanying data sheet I was able to set up it's sister chip, the 25Q32BSIG. Both work fine. Again, many thanks.
