hey, i have tried to write to multiple eproms of the 27C322 type, all with no luck. I am using a 18V ac power supply, and have also tried it with a 12V supply.
The chip is recognised and blank check shows its empty, and then when i go to write to it it writes all the wrong bytes of code!
Every last byte is wrong. but it manages to write the entire chip.
What am i doing wrong?
Im using willem version .98D5 on PCB50. |

Come on people! this site doesnt have much for forum activity do they... I am in need of any answers here. I cant find out any information, ive done extensive searching on the web and cant seem to find anything out. Seeing as this site is for people who use eprom programmers i expected a better turn out |

If it only the last byte wrong, then looks like software related. Try use other software version. Like 0.97j version. |

No ZLM you miss read that. EVERY byte is wrong. i meant all of them. I even tried a different programmer (GQ-4X) and it fails at the same spot every time. Im using the ADP-054 adapter with the 4X and still nothing. Heres what happens:
"Chip is blank c:\users\downloads\test.bin. Speed = 3 ID check skipped Writing... Code Elapsed time: 2.44 seconds. Write failed, Address=0x000000, Buffer=0x4C Device=0x48 Write failed"
It fails at the same place every time. I bought the GQ4x because i thought my willem was faulty, but now the 4X is failing too so i dont know what to do... |

Thanks for your help so far ZLM. So you think the adapter is faulty? That sucks, i bought it from MCUmall and it hasnt worked since i got it, so i guess it makes sense that it could be faulty.
Is there a different adapter you would recommend? |
